Washi Tape Animal Samplers
I spotted this idea over on The Puk Project earlier in the week and couldn't resist trying it myself. Designed to share washi tape designs via snail mail, Puk's cat-shaped washi tape samplers are the cutest way to share tape that I've ever seen! I think it's their little faces!
You can find step-by-step instructions here. Though it's pretty straightforward - cut a piece of card stock, add animal details like ears and a sweet face, then wrap strips of washi tape around and share! Adjust the size of your animals to match the amount of tape you'd like to share. Mine are about 2" wide x 4.5" tall.
Of course, there's no reason to limit yourself to cats - any critter looks cute all dressed up in washi tape. Pink pigs look positively pleased with themselves - must be all those patterns in one outfit.
I'm pretty partial to samplers shaped like bears. Their round ears are a little trickier to cut but they're worth it once you see them all snuggled up in layers of washi.
But then again... the cats ARE pretty cute...
I guess it'll have to be one of each for me... no favourites today.
How about you? Do you have a favourite? Or a suggestion for a different animal?
I'd love to see how you share tape with your friends and pen pals!
